You want great lyrics?  How about a great voice to go with them?  Oh ok you want me to throw in some great songwriting? No problem, you got yourself a deal because I'll give you 20 year old singer/songwriter "Skye".   This Long Island, NY native has the talent to re-set the bar for female alternative music that hasn't been seen since Alanis Morrisette.
 
Writing music seems to be a calling for Skye and she never falls short on her , afterall she's been writing songs since she was 14. On her CD – GOOD BOYS DON'T -   Skye delivers  seven songs with an emotional punch. Stand out songs are "Desperately Waiting" , "Good Boys Don't" and  "Bright Side."   I believe the best is yet to come, and rumor has it that Skye just came back from Paris with some great new songs.
   
I first realized how infectious Skye's sound was when I was shopping for groceries with my daughter.  I had  listened to a few of Skye's tracks, "Good Boys Don't" and "Desperately Waiting" before I left my house. I was tossing things in my cart when I found myself humming the hooks.
 
Soon  after, I realized that the lyrics were stuck in my head. After performing my own personal cover of the chorus to "Desperately Waiting", a powerful ballad about the difficulty of keeping your faith through life's hardships, I noticed a smile on my daughters face...an early sign that Skye will have no trouble reaching any demographic. I believe the phrase I am looking for is "universal appeal".   If one thing is certain  - the "skye" is the limit for this singer/songwriter .

Skye is currently on an ambitious tour of live shows in the NYC area - and there is no doubt that given Skye's sound, she will take a big chunk out of the big apple.
