RECORD LABEL DEMO SUBMISSIONS
Our advice to you is this; NEVER send a press kit unsolicited. What does unsolicited mean? It means that you sent your demo to a record label without permission. Sending an unsolicited press kit to a record label simply doesn't work. Your demo will most likely end up in the trash.
If you have the talent and the desire to work hard to get your demo package ready for record labels, we can solicit your demo to labels after your complete the AMG 10-STEP Artist Development Program. Our demo submissions program is open to clients who have completed the AMG 10-STEP Artist Development Program and obtain the AMG Artist Development Seal of Excellence. AMG also works with managers and music attorneys interested in having their clients participate in the program.
As part of the AMG Demo Submissions Program, AMG will contact A & R Representatives on your behalf and obtain permission to submit. We will work with you to select which labels match your sound. The entire process could take up to a month or longer as we work together to choose the labels, contact the A & R on your behalf, package your demo,
and get feedback from the A & R after your demo has been heard.
