ABOUT ALPHA MUSIC GROUP

This year, AMG will launch the AMG Artist Development eBook Series, a new newsletter "Alpha Advice for the Indie Artist", and a Resource Center to help independent artists acquire the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the music industry successfully.

Recognizing the value and benefits of connecting artists and bands with a knowledgeable and passionate team, Alpha Music Group is now a full-scale Artist Development, Inderpendent A&R, and Music Publications & Resource firm committed to the long-term goals of our clients.

Alpha Music Group was founded in 2005 with an original vision to connect mid-level independent artists with record label executives.  To that end, Alpha Music Group’s Independent A&R division worked with every major label in the U.S., connecting dozens of talented artists and bands to music industry executives from Atlantic, Bad Boy Entertainment, Capitol, Columbia, Epic, Interscope, Island Records, Koch, Sony, TVT Records, Wind-up, and many more.

In 2006, Alpha Music Group launched the AMG Record Label Tip Sheet, an electronic tip-sheet featuring radio and video streaming. The AMG Record label Tip Sheet has a distribution of 2,468 music industry executives and serves as a vehicle to introduce new talent to the music industry.

In 2007, Alpha Music Group produced the AMG Record Label Showcase Series.
The AMG Record Label Showcase Series
is held in NYC during the CMJ Music Marathon.  It is the only venue that guarantees attendance from three major record labels.  Alpha Music Group hosts both rock and urban showcases. In 2008, Alpha Music Group held its first AMG International Record Label Showcase.  Bands and artists were selected to perform for Atlantic, Island, and Capitol from Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the UK.

In 2010, AMG will launch the AMG Artist Development Webinar Series and our new newsletter "Alpha Advice for the Indie Artist" to help independent artists acquire the knowledge they need to navigate the music industry successfully.

Recognizing the value and benefits of connecting artists and bands with a knowledgeable and passionate team, Alpha Music Group is now a full-scale Artist Development, Independent A&R, and Music Production firm committed to the long-term goals of our clients.
