Opportunity:
 
Any upbeat Christmas songs WITH VOCALS (preferably Public Domain songs http://www.pdinfo.com/listPDsongs/PDChristmasSongs.htm  - or bright and cheery originals). It's for a transition montage -- going from Thanksgiving into Christmas, with everyone around town decorating -- stores, houses, trees, etc. You can ignore the "no cover" rule this time, just mention if it's an original song or cover song when submitting your mp3.
 
 
Approximate Pay Scale
It's about a minute or so use.  Will pay about $1000-$2000 all in.
 
1)  Only submit a song if you own and can clear your master & publishing within 24 hours.  Do not submit unless you are available within 24 hours for the next 1-3 weeks to clear this song.  In this case, you can use a cover!
 
2)  With the mp3, you MUST answers these questions ( cut questions and paste with reply):
     a) Name of artist:
     b) Name of song:
     c) What is your relationship to the artist?
     d) Who wrote the song?
     e) Do you personally own 100% of the master?
     f) Do you personally own 100% of the publishing? 
     g) Can you clear both within 24 hours?  (If not, who can)?
     h)  Is this song registered with ASCAP or BMI?
     i) Do you authorize True Talent to sign off on a license on your behalf?
     j) Are there any co-writers?
     k) Is this a cover song?
     l) Are any samples used?
     m) Your full name, cell # (or where you are reachable 24/7):
     n)  Do you agree to give non-EXCLUSIVE publishing on this song (if placed)?     (We'd probably need to rename and re-register the song with ASCAP or BMI to do this) - or, alternatively, we'd take a one year exclusive licensing agreement in lieu of this.
     o) Do you want my feedback or constructive criticism on this song? If so, Alpha Music Group will give you critical feeback.
 
 
The placement agency will take 50% of any placement fee (master & sync) as well as non-exclusive publishing (ONLY if the song is placed) so you are agreeing to this if you submit music. 
 
READ THIS!!!!!!!!  With the information above and your mp3, YOU MUST include a note in the email stating "I certify that the above information is 100% accurate and agree to pay True Talent Management 50% of the master/sync fee if this song is licensed as well as non-exclusive publishing for any song that gets licensed".  Alternatively, they would also consider taking 75% of the master/sync fee, you keep ALL publishing, the choice is up to you.
  
If you do not own both your master & publishing, please state who does i.e. name of indie record company and/or publisher. 
 
Note:  If the song is a co-write, you MUST list any other songwriters and note if they must sign off on the publishing license or if you control 100% of the publishing.  do not just put the name of your band as the song-writer.  List the legal names of the song-writer(s).
 
   
3 )  Only send your closest pitches - i.e. "less is more"  - I f you don't have anything like this, do not submit it.  Alpha Music Group will let you know if your song is inappropriate in which case we reserve the right to reject the submission and refund the processing fee or request an alternate song. 
 
4)  Send ONLY ONE MP3 per music request! 
   
5)  Do not send a song in an iTunes format.  Do not send an "mp4" or zipped audio file.  Do not send me anything using "yousendit".
 
6)  Only send a CD if we request the song on CD. 
 
7)  Please do not call with questions about this request - a quick email is best. info@alphamusicgroup.com  Put song submission question in the subject line.
